The 24 Hour Advent Retreat of Silence is upon us again... a sacred space for transformation at the end of 2023 and the beginning of Advent. It will be held Friday, December 1st to Saturday, December 2nd at The Joseph and Mary Retreat House In Mundelein, IL. We can’t wait for you to experience it. The rooms have full size beds and private baths.

You may arrive and get settled anytime after 2 pm on Friday, although the retreat officially begins with dinner at 6 pm. We will conclude at 3 pm on Saturday.

If this retreat is new to you, here is what you need to know... It is simple. It is uncomplicated. It's for women only and we have the whole retreat center to ourselves. There is no pressure to perform or prove yourself or impress others. It is an invitation to show up and open up your heart to the voice of God.

You will have the opportunity to take advantage of various stations, including meditating on art, reading, meditative yoga, life mapping, listening prayer, and more. Or you can choose to rest and retreat in your room and simply be present with God. That's the beauty of this time - you are free to make it what you want.
